In the last 3 months, we have won 4 new blue-chip clients, have appointed a new MD and hired 3 new directors. Our newly formed Media department is our fast-growing business unit.

What we are looking for:

Positivity and good energy is a powerful tool in account management. We are looking for a talented and curious digital ‘cheerleaders’ with an appetitive for growth to join my growing team of account managers. 

Super organised to ensure a smooth running of projects and focused on a building a healthy pipeline in mission critical to the role. Solid commercial skills with the ability to forecast and actively manage revenue is an absolute must. Ability to plan ahead and adapt to manage work in the fast moving environment we work in is also key. You will be reporting directly to the Client Service Director.and will be exposed to all aspect of the business from strategy through to delivery of all work.

Role description:

You will be supporting the Client Services Director on client relationship activity with a primary focus on organic growth

Responsible for day to day client liaison, producing contact reports, weekly status reports, preparing presentations, researching competitors and market trends for future recommendations

Interrogate client briefs (brand truths, reasons to believe), writing agency briefs (identifying consumer insights and proposition), briefing in and reviewing work before presenting to client

Preparing simple project plans, manage scope change and cost increments and invoicing

Responsible for KPI reporting for the team e.g. tracking project and account profitability, revenue, etc.

Financial management of client accounts, updating company revenue forecast sheet, preparing cost estimates for client approval, tracking retainers and projects to ensure all accounts are financially healthy and profitable

Attending client meetings, where appropriate, to lead presenting creative work, campaign and activity reporting

Account planning for future initiatives (research, insight, analytics), client development to grow revenue where possible

Liaising with the Producer to ensure that all work is planned in and resource bookings are up to date, ensuring that the team has access to the experts they need across the business when required

Manage creative and technical teams internally on specific client projects

Working with the Client Service Director, Producer and other members of the delivery team to assist in account delivery and planning activity

Prepare presentations on a regular basis on the performance of agency initiatives for the brand, interrogating analytics to identify insights and recommendations for future activities

Keep abreast of digital industry developments, launches and client industry competitor activity to keep yourself and client informed of latest trends and developments.

 

Skills & Experience:

This role requires you to keep a busy team running like clockwork, so the following skills are essential:

  • Excellent organisational skills, able to prioritise well
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • An accomplished user of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Previous experience of Microsoft Project an advantage but not essential
  • Experience of working in an agency environment
  • Previous administrative experience
  • Previous client facing role
  • Knowledge of digital technologies
  • Knowledge of brands and marketing communications
  • Knowledge Project Management
  • Knowledge of Agile is a bonus but not a must
